  • This database includes papers, publications, studies, reports, and presentations on lunar dust testing, dust mitigation, and lunar dust properties. This includes research from Apollo, Constellation, current-day, and other efforts.

Dust Testing Standards

  • NASA has created NASA-STD-1008, Classifications and Requirements for Testing Systems and Hardware to Be Exposed to Dust in Planetary Environments. This will be available around May 2021 at https://standards.nasa.gov/.

Lunar Dust Testing Facilities

  • This list will be hosted by LSIC. A link will be provided as soon as it is available. This will include a listing of Agency-wide test facilities that can potentially be used for dust exposure testing. It will also include facilities outside of NASA including from academia and industry. Note that LSIC's facility database will also have information on other types of facilities. It will be searchable by keywords.

Lunar Dust Testing Campaigns

  • This database includes a list of on-going or recent lunar dust testing efforts within NASA. This database is provided to communicate these efforts across the NASA community, and may serve as a useful tool for those that are beginning test campaigns.
