  • "Dirty" 1 m chamber
  • Capable of vacuum down to 10-7 Torr, +/-150C
  • Radiation sources on the chamber
    • Can supply electrons up to 100 keV, low energy protons, and vacuum ultraviolet
  • Can be equipped with a regolith box ~6" deep

  • 15' Diameter Vacuum Chamber
  • 2650 ft3, 15’ diameter x 15’ Vertical Chamber
  • Normal operating ambient pressure is 2 x 10-5 psi
    • 3 Mechanical Vacuum Pumps
  • LHe/LN2/LH2 Cryogens Feed System
  • Glass Window Ports
  • HD Video Cameras
  • Can include soil and dust within test facility
    • Dust filter system being planned for installation for PSI Project
    • Soil bin being designed and developed by KSC
      • Dust filter system installed for TPS testing
