Biography
Julie Read is an orbital debris modeling subject matter expert in the Orbital Debris Program Office at NASA’s Johnson Space Center. Her work involves orbital debris research for Earth-centric and cislunar regions of space. She earned her Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering with a focus on orbital mechanics from Texas A&M University. Her previous work includes working as a Flight Dynamics Officer (FDO) flight controller for the Artemis I mission as an expert in trajectories and burn targeting & guidance.
