Biography

Julia Plummer is the OSIRIS-REx lab lead and small particles processor supporting within the Astromaterials Research and Exploration Science (ARES) division at NASA Johnson Space Center (JSC). She specializes in handling extraterrestrial samples down to the micro scale to be allocated to the worldwide scientific community. Julia also supports OREx in designing custom materials compliant storage containers for flight hardware along with custom tools for sample handling to ensure that the collection remains pristine.
