Biography
Jordyn-Marie Dudley is a Planetary Geochemist within NASA Johnson Space Center’s (JSC) Astromaterials Research and Exploration Science (ARES) division under the Jacobs-JETS contract. She is interested in SIMS/NanoSIMS and volatiles (H, Cl) in differentiated planetary materials. Particularly, volatiles in Martian meteorites and lunar samples, and shock effects on hydrogen contents and isotopes in nominally anhydrous minerals. In addition to her research, she is also a member of the ARES social media team. Jordyn-Marie works to bridge the research efforts of the department with public interest and promote STEM within the community. Before Jordyn-Marie joined JSC, she completed a Master’s thesis at Wesleyan University as a member of the Planetary Science Group on water in eucrite, angrite, and ureilite meteorites using SIMS.
