Biography
Danielle Thompson is a Research Scientist and Project Manager within NASA Johnson Space Center's Astromaterials Research and Exploration Science (ARES) division under the Jacobs JETS II contract. Her research focuses on thermochemical modeling of lunar materials, focusing on the volatile elements, to help understand the processes that occurred during the formation of the Moon. She also manages the task order for Basic and Applied Research, which supports ARES Astromaterials Research.
