Biography

Angela Garcia is an Exploration Geoscientist (Planetary Geologist) with Amentum supporting NASA’s ARES Division at Johnson Space Center. A former Jacobs intern at NASA JSC in 2017 and 2018, she holds both a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Geology. Angela is an Artemis II flight controller in the Science Officer console, serves on the Artemis Science Team with a focus on spacesuit and geology tool and container development for early Artemis missions, and is an astronaut geology instructor. Angela loves her career in geology and doesn’t stray too far with hobbies of ceramics and rock climbing.
