Andrea Meado is a Geoscientist in the Earth Science and Remote Sensing Unit (ESRS) within the Astromaterials Research Exploration and Science (ARES) Division at the Johnson Space Center (JSC). She is a payload operator for the Crew Earth Observations payload and works with astronaut photography from the International Space Station. Meado writes articles for NASA's Earth Observatory, is on the ARES social media team, and is also involved with GIS tasks within the group.
Additionally, Meado has geologic research experience with structural geology, igneous petrology, and rock magnetism of terrestrial peridotites and completed her Master's thesis on Martian shergottite NWA 6963.
