  • Description: This FREE NASA Astromaterials Research and Exploration Science (ARES) interactive webinar engaged educators (informal and formal) and students as they interacted with NASA Scientist Kent Fisher who shared amazing views of Earth taken by astronauts on the International Space Station showcasing how these images help showcase the fragility and beauty of Earth as seen from space! Additional Earth Science and Remote Sensing scientists and staff including Andrea Meado, Laura Phoebus, Paige Graff, Suzanne Foxworth and Kim Willis also joined the webinar to help answer live participant questions during the session. Participants from 38 states, Washington DC, Puerto Rico, Brazil, Canada, Chile, India, Mexico, and the Philippines registered for this event.
