Description: This FREE NASA Astromaterials Research and Exploration Science (ARES) interactive webinar engaged educators (informal and formal) and students as they interacted with Ann Nguyen and Nicole Lunning who gave an overview of the OSIRIS-REx mission and shared details about the spacecraft as it gets ready to “TAG” the surface of Bennu (scheduled for October 20) and collect samples that will be brought back to Earth. Once returned, samples will be curated and analyzed using our facilities at NASA’s Johnson Space Center. Participants from 35 states, DC, Mexico, Spain and Indonesia registered for this event.
