  • Description: This FREE NASA Astromaterials Research and Exploration Science (ARES) interactive webinar engaged formal educators and their students (targeting grades 5-9 – though other grade levels participated) as they interacted with Curtis Calva, a meteorite processor in the Antarctic Meteorite Lab at the NASA Johnson Space Center in Houston, TX. Curtis shared information about his career path to NASA as well as information about working in the Meteorite laboratory. Participants from 17 states and Mexico registered for this event.
