Borrowing the Sample Disk: Certification Requirements

All Lunar and Meteorite Sample Disks Certification Workshops are facilitated by a NASA Authorized Sample Disk Certifier. Certification workshops will include hands-on activities, content information, and security training about the proper handling of the Sample Disks. The workshops are a minimum of 3 hours for either Lunar or Meteorite Sample Disk Certification Training. For both Lunar and Meteorite Sample Disk Certification Training, the workshop is 5-6 hours.

NASA Authorized Sample Disk Certifiers offer certification workshops free of charge. Exceptions may include workshops in which there are minimal costs incurred due to facility charges, meal fees, or conference charges.
