Expedition Earth & Beyond (EEAB)

Program Background

Expedition Earth and Beyond was initially developed in 2008. The Expedition Earth and Beyond development team was led by ARES Science Education Specialist Paige Graff along with classroom educators Marshalyn Baker, Charles Lindgren, Michele Mailhot, and Tim McCollum. The development team was strengthened by ARES Scientists William Stefanov, Susan Runco, and Kim Willis. The combined expertise of classroom educators and professional scientists enables truly authentic science experiences to be infused in the classroom. The goal of the program has been, and continues to be, to provide students and teachers with a way to get actively involved in the excitement and journey of exploration, discovery, and the process of science.
