Distance Learning Events

Expedition Earth and Beyond offers three different types of Distance Learning Events:

  1. Classroom Connection Webinars: These are interactive presentations facilitated by scientists and science experts. Presentations are designed to increase background knowledge on a variety of topics related to Expedition Earth and Beyond. Students will have the opportunity to actively participate during session as well as ask question at the end of the session.
    •
  2. Online Teacher Trainings: These interactive trainings are designed to help educators learn how to incorporate available curricular materials into the classroom. Trainings are held in the late afternoon/early evening.
    •
  3. Team Research Presentations: These are opportunities for student teams to present and share their research to scientists and other students across the nation. Student teams will be asked to provide a PowerPoint presentation at least 1 week in advance to the scheduled presentation. Presentations can occur throughout the semester. Check out the calendar of events to see when the next Team Research presentation will be offered. If you wish to have your team present their research, email us a jsc-eeab@mail.nasa.gov
