Formation and differentiation processes of extraterrestrial bodies that include: planetary basalt petrogenesis; asteroidal crust formation; Mars and asteroid exploration; subduction-zone material recycling on Earth

Technical developments that include: in situ ion microprobe analyses; high P-T experiments for mineral/melt elemental partitioning
