Research/Engineering Interests

Volatiles and D/H ratios in Martian meteorites. Volatile element surface deposits on lunar volcanic glass spherules. Igneous petrology of lunar rocks and martian meteorites. Mid-ocean ridge basalt petrogenesis. Cumulate rocks in oceanic crust and basic layered intrusions. Application of electron and ion beam instruments to problems in cosmochemistry and geochemistry.
