Judith H. Allton is the ARES Genesis Solar Wind Sample Curator responsible for the care and distribution of the solar wind collectors returned to Earth by the Genesis Discovery Mission in 2004. Judy has participated in the curation of extraterrestrial materials since 1974, with special interest in the lunar soil cores, planetary protection, Mars sample return and Apollo sample-collecting history, in addition to solar wind. She earned a Master's in analytical chemistry from the University of Texas at Austin. Her expertise is in cleanroom operation and sample control.
