Future human exploration of the Moon and Mars requires that we build on the technologies developed through the Apollo, Space Shuttle, and Space Station programs, as well as the current robotic missions.

Current and upcoming robotic planetary missions include visits to the Moon, Mars, a near-Earth asteroid, a comet, and the Sun.
